​Energy Saving Implementation


In April, 2017, the Town entered into an agreement with Johnson Controls, Inc. (JCI) to implement several energy savings measures to all Town buildings and report on the Town's energy savings over a two year period.

JCI has issued the following reports:  

Energy Report Year 1 (May, 2018 to April, 2019)
Energy Report Year 2 (May, 2019 to April, 2020)

Community Collection Day


The Town of Bel Air is Co-Sponsoring a Community Collection day with Harford County on Saturday, September 21st at the Bel Air High School.  Bring your unwanted items to find a new home,   You can donate bicycles, books, sporting goods and many more items.  Click here for a complete list of items and a list of our sponsors. 

A document shredding truck will also be available.

Used Clothing Drop-Off Shed

The Town is sponsoring Turnkey  Enterprises with various drop off locations for clothing and many other much needed items.  To find more information on items to be collected and locations, click here.
 

Cash Rebate
 

The Town of Bel Air is offering a 50% cash rebate to property owners that purchase one of these green products to become  a more sustainable household.  Click here for details (Rebates good until funds are exhausted).


 
Sustainable Bel Air Plan

The Sustainable Bel Air Community Plan is intended to be a “living document" that provides guidance toward conserving resources and progress regarding social and economic stability.  It is meant to be consulted for guidance, referenced for action, and updated over time as the Town situation changes and the community develops.  

 Bel Air Demographic Report


Bel Air is the government and commercial center for Harford County with a large daytime population and a rural suburban character.  Municipal, County, and State administrative offices are located in the downtown area, as well as the Circuit and District courts. 

A demographic report was compiled for comparison of the Town of Bel Air and it's statistics in relation to Harford County and the State.
