OFFICIAL RESULTS OF THE 2021 ELECTION
Chance and Etting Win Town of Bel Air Commissioners Seats
The canvass of absentee and provisional ballots occurred on Thursday, November 4, 2021 and the second canvass of absentee ballots occurred on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Town Hall. The official results of the 2021 Town of Bel Air Municipal Election are as follows:

The following individuals have completed the certificate of candidacy, financial disclosure statement, been approved by the Board of Ethics, and paid the filing fee, thereby declaring their intent to run for the office of Town Commissioner in the upcoming election:

ELECTION INFORMATION
Candidate Filing
Anyone who desires to file as a candidate for Commissioner of the Town of Bel Air must have resided in the Town for at least six (6) months immediately preceding the election and shall be a registered voter of the State of Maryland. Candidates must file in person, at Town Hall, 39 N. Hickory Avenue, and complete a written certificate of candidacy and code of ethics financial disclosure statement with the Town Clerk of their intention to run for the office of Commissioner on or before September 17, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. The filing fee is $25.00. Voter Registration
All eligible residents of the Town of Bel Air who desire to vote in the Town Election on November 2, 2021 must be a registered voter of the State of Maryland. If you are not registered, or have any questions regarding your registration, contact the Harford County Board of Elections on or before the voter registration deadline of October 12, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. Applications for registration are available at the Harford County Elections Office located at 133 Industry Lane, Forest Hill; the Maryland Department of Motor Vehicles at 501 W. MacPhail Road, Bel Air; Bel Air Town Hall; or on line at www.harfordvotes.info, or call (410) 638-3565 for more information.
Every person who meets all of the qualifications in Section 501: Voters of the Town Charter may vote: 1) is a citizen of the United States; 2) is eighteen (18) years of age or older by the date of the election; 3) is a registered voter in the State of MD and has resided within the Town of Bel Air for at least twenty‐one days preceding the Town election; and 4) is not constitutionally regulated or disqualified to be a registered voter pursuant to Election Law § 3-102 (b) of the Annotated Code of Maryland.
Absentee Voting
Absentee Ballot Applications are available at the Harford County Board of Elections, 133 Industry Lane, Forest Hill, MD 21050 or by calling (410) 638‐3565. The deadline for receipt of Absentee Ballot Applications by the Harford County Board of Elections is October 26, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. by mail, or 11:59 p.m. by fax to (410) 638‐3310 or email to elections@harfordcountymd.gov in order to receive your ballot by mail. After this deadline applications and ballots must be picked up in person at the Harford County Board of Elections. Ballots must be postmarked or received at Bel Air Town Hall, 39 N. Hickory Avenue, Bel Air, MD on or before the close of the polls (8:00 p.m.) on Election Day.
Ballot Drop Box
If you want to drop off your voted ballot instead of mailing it, you can drop off your ballot at Bel Air Town Hall, 39 N. Hickory Avenue, Bel Air, MD. Take the sealed reply envelope with your voted ballot inside to the drop box outside Town Hall, or bring it in to the Department of Administration office during business hours, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The drop box is available from Friday, September 24, 2021 through close of polls on Election Day. Your ballot must be dropped off by 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. Make sure your oath is signed or your ballot will not count.
Public L & A
In preparation for the Town of Bel Air Municipal Election, the Harford County Board of Elections will conduct a public logic and accuracy test of the election voting system equipment at 133 Industry Lane, Forest Hill, MD 21050, on October 26, 2021 at 11:00 AM.
Canvass
The canvass of provisional ballots and absentee ballots is scheduled for Thursday, November 4, 2021, at 10:00 AM, at Bel Air Town Hall, 39 N. Hickory Avenue, Bel Air, MD 21014.
If additional absentee ballots arrive in the mail, after the initial canvass, a second canvass is scheduled for Friday, November 12, 2021, at 10:00 AM, at Bel Air Town Hall, 39 N. Hickory Avenue, Bel Air, MD 21014.
