By Allan Vought•Contact ReporterThe AegisMaryland American Water Company announced Thursday it has filed a petition with the Maryland Public Service Commission for a rate increase, as the company’s new reservoir just outside of Bel Air nears completion.The company said in a news release it has filed for new rates “seeking recovery of significant investments the company has made to secure water supply for its customers in Bel Air and parts of Harford County.”
