Bel Air has been recognized by WorldAtlas.com as one of the top six small towns in Maryland for retirees! The Heart of Harford County is ranked along with its sister municipalities, including Cumberland, Easton, Greenbelt, Sykesville and Westminster.

The article on WorldAtlas lauds Bel Air's ability to provide an "impressive balance between small-town charm and big-city amenities," citing our "vibrant downtown," as well as amenities such as the Bel Air Farmers' Market, the Harford Artists Association art gallery in Armory Marketplace, historic sites such as the Liriodendron Mansion and recreational areas such as the MA & PA Heritage Trail. University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center also is highlighted as an example of local medical facilities.

This is yet another indicator that Bel Air is a great place to live, work and play, for people of all ages!
