Criminal Investigations Division

The Bel Air Police Department Criminal Investigation Division is tasked with investigating serious crimes that occur in the Town of Bel Air. Our investigators work in cooperation with other local, state and federal law enforcement agencies to bring cases to an appropriate conclusion. 

Our Criminal Investigation Division also conducts background investigations for prospective employees, participates in community policing educational opportunities,  handles property and evidence, conducts internal investigations and conducts crime analysis.
